The problem

Your venue deserves better than what the internet shows of it.

Anyone looking for a venue opens ten tabs, in the evening, on a phone. They close the slow sites, the ones with small photographs, the ones where you cannot tell how many people fit around the tables.

You will never know how many visitors passed through without writing. It is the only part of your trade that happens without you, and it is also the easiest to put right.

What is included

Everything is in it, there are no options.

The price covers all of the following. I tell you what it is on the first call, before showing you anything.

  • A bespoke design. Drawn for your venue, from its colours and its photographs.
  • Eight to ten pages. Home, the venue, what is offered, gallery, about, contact.
  • French and English. Your site is bilingual, at no extra cost.
  • Your logo. Created for you if you do not have one yet.
  • Your copy written. From what you tell me, in your own register.
  • An enquiry form. Every enquiry lands in your inbox.
  • A photo gallery. Your best images given room to breathe.
  • Search foundations. Structure and speed built for Google.
  • Domain and hosting. Included for the first year, in your name.
  • A professional email address. On your own domain.
  • Three rounds of changes. To adjust until the result suits you.
  • Legal pages and GDPR. Cookie notice and privacy policy included.

How it works

Four milestones, and nothing to install.

  1. Day 1

    A twenty minute call

We look at your venue, your empty dates and what your online presence does today. If this is not useful for you, I say so there and then.

  2. Week 1

    The kick-off

We go through your photographs, your copy and your domain name. You leave that call knowing when your site will be online.

  3. Week 4

    Approval

I show you the finished site, you send your comments in one go. Three rounds of changes are included.

  4. Going live

    Everything in your name

The source code is handed over, the domain is registered in your name, and for fifteen days any fault is fixed at no charge.

After going live

What happens once the site is yours.

You write to me with what you want changed and I take care of it, at 90 € per change. You only pay for what you ask, and nothing the rest of the time. A venue usually asks for one or two a year: that is precisely why I do not sell a maintenance subscription.

After a year, I let you know sixty days before the deadline and you choose. Either you leave hosting and the domain name with me, 190 € a year, and have nothing to do. Or you take it over: the source code has been handed to you, the domain is in your name, several hosts are free, and I explain how.

What people ask

About the site, and what becomes of it.

I do not have good photographs.

That is the most common case, and it is not a blocker. We start from what you have, I retouch what can be retouched, and I tell you precisely which shots are missing. If a photographer has to come, they may as well come for the three photographs that matter.

I have no time to write the copy.

You write nothing. We talk, I take notes, and I write. You read it back and correct anything that does not sound like you.

What about showing prices?

For a reception, I advise against it: the price is built on the phone, and showing it makes clients leave before you have spoken to them. For a cottage or guest rooms it is the opposite, an indication of price is essential, and we include it.

My current site runs on WordPress or Wix.

We start again on a faster foundation and keep what deserves keeping: your copy, your photographs, your domain name, and the search visibility already earned, through redirects.
